Job summary

Waupaca Foundry, Inc. in Tell City, Indiana seeks a Supervisor to manage the Core Room's daily coordination and operations in support of facility goals.

You will mentor and supervise Core Room staff, lead daily meetings, deploy scheduling and staffing strategies, and drive safety and productivity improvements across plant departments. Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or relevant operations experience.
• Knowledge of plant operations including Melt, Core, VMM, Millroom.
• Familiarity with safety policies and ISO/TS standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Supervisors and Core Room personnel.
• Lead daily/weekly meetings and coordinate with plant goals.
• Drive safety, productivity, and quality improvements.
• Develop procedures to improve production systems and 6S activities.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
