Qualifications

• Proven experience managing production operations in digital media, broadcast, or remote cloud production environments.
• Strong ownership mindset and central operator across production and technical functions.
• Experience with cloud-based production systems (AWS or similar) and managing environments built by external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams with cross-training and collaboration.
• Strong operational instincts to identify gaps, improve processes, and scale solutions.
• Ability to balance people, process, and technology as a general manager of technical production.
• Excellent communication translating between technical, production staff, and leadership.
• History of building teams that operate independently with high execution standards.
• Proactive, curious operator who learns and improves processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of producers, technical directors, and editors across multiple productions.
• Lead production planning and oversight, including budgeting, tracking, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Own day-to-day production logistics, staffing coordination, and timelines.
• Serve as primary point of contact between production teams and leadership.
• Oversee and optimize technical workflows across vendor studios, production software, and virtual environments.
• Identify issues and surface opportunities for improvements based on observation and feedback.
• Implement and refine standardized processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Coordinate cross-training initiatives to strengthen team redundancy and ownership.
• Support new show launches, special projects, and expansion of in-house production capabilities.
