Häfele America Co. in High Point, NC seeks an Assistant Production Manager to coordinate daily production activities, staffing, safety, and quality, ensuring goals are met efficiently.

You will lead teams on the floor, work with Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality, and drive continuous improvement using ERP/MRP and MS Office. A strong background in operations and supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent; bachelor's in Engineering/Operations/Manufacturing preferred.
• 4–6 years in production, manufacturing, or operations.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience in production/operations preferred.
• Experience with schedules, labor planning, quality, safety, and metrics.

Responsabilités

• Assist in daily production activities, staffing, and schedule execution.
• Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, safety, and output against goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members and leads.
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to solve issues.
• Promote safe work practices and policy compliance.
• Review data to identify improvements in efficiency, accuracy, throughput.
• Support training, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use MS Office, ERP/MRP; assist with year-end headcount and Capex planning; justify requests.
• Lead daily production meetings with planning/leadership and floor teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
