Job summary

FIS in Romeoville, IL is seeking a detail-oriented production operator to operate and maintain printing and inserting equipment, meet quality standards, and process card materials in a fast-paced environment.

You will set up equipment, handle jams, log production data, and communicate issues to the Production Department Management team. The role is fully on-site, with Monday to Wednesday 7:00am–7:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to adapt to changing duties, workflow and priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.

• Performs high-speed, high-volume production tasks such as embossing, inserting and sorting to process card materials.
• Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams and other simple malfunctions and unloads product from equipment.
• Maintains productivity on all systems and delivers a quality product while meeting all production deadlines.
• Identifies and resolves clearly defined problems.
• Completes and maintains operator reports and logs.

What you will be doing:

• Operates production machines, inserters, printers, bursters, metering machines and general office equipment.
• Performs high-speed, high-volume production tasks such as embossing, inserting and sorting to process card materials.
• Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams and other simple malfunctions and unloads product from equipment.
• Maintains productivity on all systems and delivers a quality product while meeting all production deadlines.
• Identifies and resolves clearly defined problems.
• Completes and maintains operator reports and logs.
• Reconciles incoming and completed work.
• Communicates all issues, concerns or questions to the Production Department Management team.
• Work is generally repetitive and subject to inspection.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 7:00am - 7:30pm. Fully On-site. Must reside locally. 1165 Arbor Drive Romeoville, IL 60446

The pay range for this full-time position is $16.09 - $25.75 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.

Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
