Jabil is seeking a Production & Operational Excellence Manager to lead all injection molding manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on safe, efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production, aligning with customer delivery requirements and business goals.

You will champion Lean Manufacturing practices across Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma, while coordinating cross-functional teams and mentoring production staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years of injection molding manufacturing experience.
• 3-5+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Proven success leading Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence programs.

This role ensures safe, efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production performance while achieving customer delivery requirements and business objectives.Key responsibilities include managing daily production activities, optimizing resources, improving key manufacturing KPIs (OEE, productivity, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery), and coordinating cross-functional teams including Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, Materials, and Supply Chain.The position also serves as a champion of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence, leading initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity, reduce waste, lower costs, and enhance quality and operational performance.Additionally, the manager ensures compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and GMP standards; supports customer satisfaction through root cause analysis and corrective actions; develops and mentors production teams; manages departmental budgets and resources; and drives strategic projects that support operational excellence, automation, digital transformation, and sustainable business growth.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience.7-10+ years of injection molding manufacturing experience.3-5+ years of leadership or management experience.Proven success leading Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence programs.Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, materials, automation systems, and high-volume manufacturing environments.Bilingual English/Spanish (written and verbal).Preferred CertificationsLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltPMP CertificationScientific Molding CertificationBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
