Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Operations Leader to drive operational excellence across its Memphis campus. Lead multiple functional areas, develop future leaders, and partner with unit managers to achieve safety, efficiency, and profitability.

You will drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and talent development while aligning strategic initiatives with corporate goals to deliver measurable results for customers and the business.

coach, and develop Functional Managers and operational leadership teams.Recruit, interview, and hire management-level talent.Drive employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.Establish performance expectations and hold teams accountable to operational goals and objectives.Provide mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback to leaders across the organization.Coordinate and lead large teams during periods of change, growth, or operational challenges.Strategic Planning & Business LeadershipDevelop and communicate campus operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives.Execute strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Provide regular updates to site and corporate leadership regarding strategic execution and performance.Partner with cross-functional teams to align resources and business priorities.Operational Excellence & Continuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing metrics, trend analysis, and performance data.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency.Establish and improve operational measurement systems and reporting tools.Implement industry best practices and share knowledge across multiple facilities.Ensure procedures, work instructions, and operational processes remain effective and efficient.Financial & Cost ManagementMonitor departmental costs, trends, and operational expenditures.Develop and implement strategies to reduce cost while improving value and performance.Analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions.Provide cost performance updates and recommendations to leadership teams.Forecasting & Customer FocusDevelop accurate operational forecasts and assess future business trends.Compare forecasted performance against historical results to improve planning accuracy.Anticipate customer needs and proactively resolve operational challenges.Ensure internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded.Compliance & SafetyMaintain compliance with all company policies, quality standards, security the organization.How will you get here?Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.10+ years of manufacturing, operations, or related leadership experience.5+ years of management experience leading managers and cross-functional teams.Experience developing and executing operational strategies.Strong background in performance management, workforce development, and succession planning.Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.Advanced computer skills and experience utilizing business systems, reporting tools, and operational software applications.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong leadership and people management skills.Strategic thinking with the ability to execute operational plans.Expertise in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement methodologies.Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and operational metrics.Strong analytical and Sigma, Kaizen, or related continuous improvement certifications.Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced operational reporting tools.Multi-site or campus-level leadership experience.Experience
