Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a Lead Assistant Production Nutrition for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports the production nutrition team with preparation, processing, packaging and storage of food items in a school kitchen environment.

Working Calendar: 261 days/8 hours. Salary Schedule 1B Grade 4 (attached). Subject to Salary Placement Rules. Location is on-site at the C B YOUNG site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
• Strong basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the designated supervisor is responsible for preparation, processes, packaging and storing of production food items.
• May be assigned to work in Bakery, Cook Chill, Packaging and Assembly, and Warewash.
