Job summary

Donaldson in the United States is seeking a capable assembler with strong safety and quality focus to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will review work orders, perform material handling, assemble products with hand tools, and conduct tests as needed while adhering to DOT/HAZMAT and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Must work safely and follow plant procedures.
• For internal positions, no written warnings within 12 months.
• Material handling with forklifts, cranes, carts, etc.
• Display mechanical aptitude and ability to read instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review work order to ensure descriptions match analytical format and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Verify counts with exact counts from the work order before transferring to next process.
• Document pertinent information on the work order (e.g., scrap, quality concerns).
• Facilitate hot orders from other areas of the business.
• Use hand tools and mechanical ability to assemble products.
• Test equipment when necessary.
• Move and transport materials and products.
• Perform quality inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Package and crate assembled products and load for shipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Work safely and follow Health and Safety policies.
• Use designated PPE as required.
• Participate in DPS continuous improvement and kaizen events.
• Assist other departments as assigned.
• Complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable).

Roles Responsibilities:

• Work Safely and comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures


• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required


• Active involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen events


• Assist other departments as assigned


• Successfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable)
