Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery is seeking a Mixer Operator to safely operate industrial mixers, accurately scale ingredients, and mix products in the proper sequence to produce our cheesecakes and toppings. You will work in a team-focused environment, adhering to GMPs and food-safety standards.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and flexibility to work various shifts. Prior manufacturing or food-handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production procedures and GMPs.
• Meet all federal and state regulatory requirements and adhere to SQF program.
• Manufacturing or Food Handling industry knowledge.
• Industrial machinery experience.
• Basic hand tool and computer user interface knowledge.
• Food safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Respectfully communicates with all co-workers.
• Pre-weighing and preparing raw baking ingredients.
• Combining dry and wet ingredients in industrial-sized mixers.
• Ensure product ingredients are mixed as the recipe specifies.
• Ensure product quality conforms to quality standards through the baking process.
• Ensure products are wrapped/bagged, and correct problems with machinery settings.
• Compliance with company-wide GMPs.

The Mixer Operator is responsible for the safe operation of industrial mixers, the accurate scaling of ingredients, and mixing products in the proper sequence to produce the cheesecakes and toppings used in our baked goods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 6 months prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Understanding of production procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices Teamwork and communication skills
• Meet all federal and state regulatory requirements and adhere to our SQF program
• Manufacturing or Food Handling industry knowledge
• Industrial Technical or Machinery experience
• Basic hand tool and computer user interface knowledge
• Food and Safety knowledge

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Ability to perform repetitious work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand up to 80% of shift
• Squatting, and pushing/pulling up to 30% of shift
• Twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting to 80% of shift
