Job summary

Homesteader is seeking Full-Time MIG Welders for 1st shift to join our manufacturing team in Tennessee. The Wall/Roof Set Welder and Frame Table Welder will read production orders, measure parts, and weld sections to the steel main frame using MIG welding techniques.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to read a production order and tape measure. Certification is not required, but hands-on welding experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read a production order sheet.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Certification NOT required; however, sufficient experience is required to pass a practical welding assessment.

Responsibilities

• The Wall/Roof Set Welder will be able read a production order and must be able to read a tape measure. The candidate will be trained how to set, assemble and attach wall, roof and front sections using a mig welder to the steel main frame .
• The Frame Table Welder will be able read a production order and must be able to read a tape measure. The candidate will be trained how to layout, assemble and mig weld steel frame parts on a jig table.

2 Plant shut downs:
