Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; plus trade schooling in welding, machine shop, PLC or related trades.
• Ability to read and interpret machinery/electrical blueprints; follow manuals.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; strong team interaction.
• Good communication in English; willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience in fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule at shift start to determine run, changes, and maintenance needs.
• Readjust lines and equipment for product, material, size, and pack patterns; inspect first piece.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and take corrective action as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and relevant components per requirements.
• Monitor equipment for unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions; document downtime.
