Job summary

MSA Safety seeks a Plant Materials Manager in Cranberry Township, PA. You will convert the supply plan into production plans, manage inventory movements, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining 95%+ inventory accuracy.

You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement using SAP/WMS/ERP, and collaborate with Demand Planning and distribution centers to optimize budget and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
• Professional Certification such as ISM: CIPS/CPSM and or ASCM: CPIM/CSCP.
• 7 years materials management, production planning, warehousing, inventory control experience.
• Leadership experience of professional and/or production level associates.

Responsibilities

• Convert and maintain the supply plan into production plans with reliable MELT.
• Manage inventory movement, and perform accurate inventory transactions.
• Lead a department function controlling inventory and drive root-cause actions.
• Oversee receiving/shipping with timely processing and budgeting.
• Maintain warehouse standards and 95%+ inventory accuracy.
• Lead monthly 1:1 sessions and foster growth in the team.
• Drive ERP optimization and automate warehousing transactions to reduce costs.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and distribution centers.
