Position Overview

The Production Material Handler is responsible for pulling all fabric to be cut for the cut order and/or custom department accurately and on time.

What you'll do

• Pull fabric for cut orders and/or custom department.
• Meet daily order pull standards set by the supervisor or manager.
• Check fabric against swatches for accuracy.
• Deduct pulled yardage from the bin card.
• Assist with stock checks as needed.
• Tag custom pulls with the plant number.
• Pull back-ordered fabric promptly.
• Check pulls against primary bin location and protest case bin.
• Notify receiving supervisor before pulling fabric from the case bin.
• Work in a production/warehouse environment.
• Stand/walk for up to seven hours or more per shift.
• Lift or carry over 30 pounds.
• Push/pull carts and buggies occasionally.
• Ascend/descend ladders occasionally.
• Move about to complete tasks or shift between worksites.
• Repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Wear a face mask/shield as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
