Shift: Day Shift (6:15 am - 4:45 pm, Monday through Thursday)

Position: Production Material Planner

Requirements

Basic Functions

• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision, and have prior experience in Supply Chain. Good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Essential Duties

• Develop and manage material and production goals related to planning, stockroom, expediting, shipping, and receiving.
• Manage material functions including master scheduling, planning, acquisition, and distribution.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering departments.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Follow up, expedite, and counsel departments to maintain valid production schedules.
• Audit inventory records.
• Provide lead times to Sales for new order entries.
• Oversee MRP planning.

Requirements

• Demonstrate good judgment and professional integrity.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in production/material planning.
• Experience with machine shop parts is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including MRP systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
