Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Production Material Handler to keep manufacturing running by pulling, issuing, staging, and delivering parts to production areas. You will use production orders and inventory data to locate parts, maintain accuracy, and ensure timely delivery for customer orders.

The role emphasizes safety, precise part handling, and adherence to FIFO and inventory control processes, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement in material flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, material handling, or a similar environment.
• Ability to read part numbers, work orders, pick lists, and basic production documentation.
• Basic math and computer/data-entry skills.
• Ability to safely operate or become certified to operate powered industrial equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Review production orders, pick lists, or material requests to determine required parts and quantities.
• Locate and pull parts, components, hardware, and materials from inventory locations.
• Issue materials to production orders and record inventory transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and quantities; assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
