Job summary

SPX Technologies is hiring a Production Material Handler to support manufacturing by pulling, issuing, staging, and delivering parts to production areas. You will ensure accuracy of parts, materials, and inventory while working to keep production on schedule.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable material flow, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements in inventory processes and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, material handling, or similar.
• Ability to read part numbers, work orders, pick lists, and basic production documentation.
• Basic math and computer/data-entry skills.
• Ability to safely operate or become certified to operate powered industrial equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Pull, issue, stage, and deliver parts to production areas using production orders and inventory data.
• Verify part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and work orders before issuing materials.
• Identify shortages or discrepancies and communicate with team members or supervisors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
