Job Responsibilities

• Labels and stores all materials in correct storage areas
• Coordinates activities of transferring materials
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs regularly
• Understands inventory control principles
• Has knowledge of warehouse functions (inventory, receiving, staging, and prepping)
• Understands and implements lean practices and demand flow strategies
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn new tasks
• Removes trash from production area and places it in the dumpster
• Locates items strategically to reduce wasted motion and maximize space utilization

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Certifications and Licenses

• Forklift Certification preferred (ability to re-certify with employer)
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Physical Demands

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
