Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking a Production Material Control specialist to support planning, material readiness, and manufacturing execution. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure materials meet production schedules and minimize shortages.

The role emphasizes material control, data accuracy in ERP systems, and proactive issue resolution to keep production on track in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, or material planning preferred.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory control, production coordination, or scheduling concepts preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor material availability, production status, and order readiness to support manufacturing execution.
• Track and maintain data in SAP or internal systems, including inventory, work orders, and production updates.
• Identify material risks, shortages, or delays and take action to resolve or elevate issues.
• Develop and maintain production schedules based on input plans, material availability, and capacity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on material and production requirements.
