Technique is seeking a Production Manager for the Jackson, Michigan facility to lead Weld, Tube Laser, and Tube Bending operations, directing supervisors, leads, and operators and coordinating capacity, scheduling, and continuous improvements.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, strong welding and CNC tube processes, PLC controls, GD&T, and QMS adherence. Develop department leaders and drive safety and performance.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the overall operation of Weld, Tube Laser, and Tube Bending departments across shifts.
• Set and manage production plans to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Plan builds with Materials and confirm tube and material availability.
• Ensure smooth handoffs between departments and load balance workloads.
• Hire, coach and develop supervisors and leads; conduct performance reviews.
• Track key metrics: on-time delivery, scrap, rework, labor efficiency, utilization.
• Ensure welders are qualified to AWS D1.1, D17.1; maintain WPS/PQR records.
• Oversee equipment readiness and preventive maintenance with maintenance team.
• Launch parts with engineering and quality; drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Drive process improvements to reduce setup and cycle times and scrap.
• Assess capacity and recommend capital and staffing investments.
• Promote safety, quality, and professionalism across departments.
