• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel spreadsheets is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-the-job training.
• Gains knowledge of panel and lumber grades and material yields.
• Learns lumber math and efficient utilization of materials and cuts.
• Learns to operate the business system for administrative tasks.
• Develops knowledge of product costing and budgeting basics.
• Understands production scheduling processes.
• Gains understanding of budget and expense control.
• Supervises activities in line with policies and laws.
• Develops knowledge of Continuous Improvement and safety.
• Learns HR policies and practices.
• Tours other facilities to understand operations.
• Completes courses and assignments as directed.
• Prepares various reports as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
