Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develops comprehensive knowledge of company products and procedures through on-the-job training activities.
• Develops comprehensive knowledge of panel and lumber grades.
• Learns lumber math and efficient utilization of materials and yields, and understands cuts.
• Learns how to operate the company’s business system to perform required administrative functions.
• Gains knowledge of product costing and production scheduling processes.
• Develops working knowledge of budgeting and expense control.
• Supervises activities in line with company policies, procedures, and laws.
• Gains knowledge of Continuous Improvement, efficiency standards, and safety.
• Gains understanding of HR policies and practices.
• Tours other UFP facilities and customer locations to understand operations.
• Completes courses and assignments as directed.
• Prepares various reports as required.
