Workforce Solutions is partnering with a family-owned manufacturer to recruit a hands-on Production Manager for their Madison, WI site. This role leads daily production from planning to execution, driving efficiency, quality, and team performance in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will oversee planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives, while managing a team and ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of products.
• Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to meet specifications, materials, and quality standards.
• Partner with internal departments including customer service, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive production efficiency and reduce waste through continuous improvement efforts.
• Analyze production data and provide reports to leadership.
• Lead and develop production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Facilitate daily and weekly production meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Support employee engagement, morale, and recognition initiatives.
• Implement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processes.
