Job summary

AEG Presents in Portland seeks a Manager Production to lead production planning for large-scale live events at a 68,000-square-foot venue. You’ll coordinate budgets, staffing, stage logistics, and vendor engagements to ensure exceptional show execution and client satisfaction.

You will oversee day-of-show operations, manage the production staff, and collaborate with artists, agents, and venue teams to maximize safety, quality, and on-time delivery within contract parameters.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field; 4+ years experience in live events or music production.
• Experience interpreting event contracts and building production budgets.
• Strong knowledge of concert production, staging, lighting, and sound.
• Ability to manage budgets and lead diverse teams under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact/liaison for the venue and productions.
• Advance and coordinate all technical aspects of events (logistics, rentals, staffing).
• Ensure contract and budget adherence; track expenses and settlements.
• Communicate advances to all stakeholders and confirm details.
• Oversee day-of-show operations; resolve issues and maintain run of show.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and supervising production staff.
