Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing organization in Hopkinsville, KY to fill a Production Manager role. The position oversees 35–40 production employees and a Production Assistant, directing daily operations and leading continuous improvements across safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on leadership and experience with ERP/MRP systems, producing schedules, and Lean practices. Competitive salary is provided with a 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Hands-on leadership to coach and develop 35–40 production employees and a Production Assistant.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and workflow in a factory setting.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP or comparable manufacturing management systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery goals.
• Coach and develop 35–40 production staff and direct a Production Assistant.
• Create and execute production plans based on customer requirements and capacity.
• Monitor performance and identify efficiency, throughput, and cost improvements.
• Support scheduling, material requirements, and shop-floor execution using ERP/MRP systems.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of production staff.
• Ensure processes and quality requirements are followed and drive continuous improvement.
