Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies seeks a Production Manager to lead the Grand Rapids production team, driving revenue and cost targets while sustaining ABT’s safety and quality standards.

You will coach and develop staff, implement Lean methods, and align production plans with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Programs and Scheduling to meet customer requirements. This role is based on-site in Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, manufacturing or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and materials management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Lean manufacturing experience required.
• Experience with quality standards and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Grand Rapids production team to meet revenue and cost targets.
• Hold the team accountable to tasks and goals and facilitate daily meetings.
• Hire, train, coach and discipline production staff; evaluate performance.
• Assess staffing needs and manage labor and overtime levels.
• Implement Lean methods, Visual Management and 5S in operations.
• Promote safety and quality culture; ensure compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Programs and Scheduling.
