Job summary

Bolzoni US is seeking an energetic Production Manager to lead the manufacturing team in Sulligent, Alabama. You will drive safe, efficient operations and align with company initiatives while coaching area managers and associates to meet customer commitments.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product development or business management.
Experience in forklift, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar manufacturing environments.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Working knowledge of AI tools and technology to improve productivity and operations.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Area Coaches and value stream associates through coaching and performance management.
Drive execution and sustainability of company principles across the value stream.
Manage value stream performance through metrics, resource planning, and production execution.
Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, inventory, lead times, and cost.
Partner with EH&S, Quality, HR, and other teams to meet objectives.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
