Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center (KTEC) in Stockton, CA is hiring a skilled Production Manager to direct and oversee the production of custom-built work truck bodies and equipment, while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

This full-time role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage safety, productivity, and costs. You will collaborate with sales and fleet teams to set priorities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• Automotive service/vehicle repair experience preferred (ASE certification optional).
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and maximizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor facility performance related to quality, safety, productivity and cost control.
• Motivate, support and guide production staff; conduct regular safety talks and investigations.
• Set priorities with sales and fleet teams and resolve issues to maintain delivery commitments.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
