Job summary

Contract Manufacturer Llc is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the CM Truck CTO engineering team. You’ll oversee NPD, VAVE, product upgrades, custom orders, and quotes for truck bed and service body lines, establishing a standardized digital-thread framework.

The role focuses on building a resilient engineering organization, driving CPQ/PLM/ERP CAD integration, and ensuring robust design reviews, BOM control, and ECN discipline across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading NPD and VAVE programs.
• Strong knowledge of DFM/ DFA and ECN processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM/CTO engineering team with documented processes and backups.
• Drive custom-order throughput and quote turnaround for CM opportunities.
• Deliver NPD programs and product upgrades across truck lines.
• Embed value-analysis/value-engineering (VAVE) as an ongoing capability with modular reuse.
• Maintain ECN discipline and product validation rigor.
