DSJ Global partners with a well-established food manufacturer to recruit a Production Manager in Beloit, WI. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control while driving plant KPIs and cross-functional collaboration across Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams in high-volume settings.
• Strong understanding of food safety systems, GMPs, HACCP and regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record driving productivity, quality, and KPI improvements.
• Experience implementing Lean, CI, TPM, or Operational Excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.
• Coach and develop production supervisors and frontline employees.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on productivity, waste reduction, and throughput.
• Monitor plant KPIs and implement action plans to improve yields, downtime, and OEE.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
• Support employee training, workforce planning, and succession development.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement programs.
