Job summary

Cook Incorporated is seeking a Production Manager to direct multiple manufacturing departments and ensure compliance with internal procedures and external standards. The role collaborates with Operations Management to meet delivery goals and drive continuous improvement.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 2+ years of manufacturing management experience, and strong knowledge of ISO, GMP, CFR standards, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management or related field preferred or equivalent background.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing management preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP and CFR standards.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain first-hand understanding of the state of the department(s).
• Ensure work order status is updated in a timely manner.
• Maintain and evaluate KPIs for productivity.
• Identify and develop leaders within the team.
• Manage personnel matters including performance issues and development plans.
• Drive quality and efficiency improvements.
• Provide clear direction and expectations to staff.
• Ensure safe, sanitary and orderly work environment.
• Support audits, investigations and tours.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485).
