MGM+ is seeking a Production Manager to act as the Creative Services point person for promotional and marketing materials for the programming slate (originals, movies, brand assets) for the MGM+ domestic and international services. The Production Manager will act as a conduit to other departments before, during and after creative content creation as well as liaise with the creative team and agencies to ensure all materials are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This role will also manage the on set content capture needs (EPK, social content, photo shoots) for the original series. The candidate must have prior experience working on original scripted series, have a solid understanding of production management software, and have experience with on set shoots.
The ideal Production Manager will be able to think critically while maintaining attention to detail. The individual in this position must be a very clear and concise communicator, both written and verbally.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal & external producers to manage the overall timeline, roll out, and delivery of A/V promotional assets for MGM+ original scripted and unscripted series including full campaigns (teases, launch promos, BTS pieces, episodic promos, etc)
- Work with the Head of Production Management to produce & oversee all on set content capture needs for the original series including, but not limited to, EPK, social content capture, and keyart + gallery photo shoots.
- Align with stakeholders and provide ongoing project updates across publicity, programming and marketing teams
- Contribute to the development of best practices within the production management and creative services team, identifying ways to invent & simplify for a more efficient use of resources.

We strive to create plans that meet all teams' needs (publicity, marketing, programming, social, legal), to communicate clearly no matter the status, to proactively identify any challenges and to provide solutions to mitigate disruptions and risk. While it is our goal to ensure materials deliver on time, even more important is to be able to communicate when things don't go as planned and to find solutions to get back on track.
We build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, earning their trust to ensure they provide us with the most precious content and information, knowing that we will use it appropriately and share as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Production Management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on original series marketing campaigns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
