Job Title: Production Manager (2nd shift)

Hours: 3:30PM - 11:30PM (Monday to Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automated Production Manager to oversee and optimize automated manufacturing and production systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily production operations, ensuring equipment efficiency, improving processes through automation, and leading teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise automated production lines and systems to ensure optimal performance and output
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production schedules to meet delivery targets
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated machinery and robotics
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement automation upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Lead, train, and evaluate production staff and operators working with automated systems
• Manage downtime, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Coordinate with supply chain, quality, and planning teams to maintain smooth production flow
• Control production costs, waste reduction, and resource utilization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in automated or high-volume production environments
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, robotics, and production control systems
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze technical and operational data
• Excellent communication and team-management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (MES, SCADA, IoT, data analytics)
• Project management experience for automation implementation
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP)
• Experience in regulated industries (food, pharma, automotive, electronics)
