Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with Management and Event Managers to assess production needs.
- Coordinate backstage logistics and serve as the primary contact for stagehand crews and technical vendors.
- Manage event estimates and ensure timely updates based on production changes.
- Oversee load-ins, show runs, and strikes for national tours, community events, and local productions.
- Staff & Vendor Management
- Schedule, train, and supervise local stagehands and production crews.
- Ensure compliance with ASM Global policies, union regulations, and safety standards (OSHA/EEO).
- Maintain payroll and time tracking for stage employees.
- Act as Event Manager on Duty as needed.
- Technical Oversight
- Supervise maintenance and upgrades of all production-related equipment including lighting, audio, and rigging systems.
- Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program for venue gear.
- Recommend capital improvements and ensure proper use and care of the facility.
- Client & Guest Experience
- Interface with prospective clients to assess and accommodate production requirements.
- Coordinate front-of-house logistics for select events to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications & Preferences
- Education & Experience 5 years of hands-on experience in a live performance venue, coliseum, arena, or similar preferred.
- Proven experience managing local stagehand crews.
- Knowledge of arena operations, production logistics, maintenance, and facility safety.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specs, and event layouts.
- Knowledge of fire/public safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to lift, move, and operate equipment in a physically demanding environment.
