Legends & ASM Global in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a Stagehand to join the Events Operations team. This part-time, on-site role assists with setup, operation, and breakdown of staging, lighting, sound, and related production equipment for live events.

Requirements include a high school diploma (technical theater preferred), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible hours including nights and weekends. Prior live-event experience is a plus. Compensation is $23.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in live event production, stage crew, or technical support is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of staging, lighting, sound, and other production equipment
• Load and unload equipment, instruments, and props safely and efficiently
• Follow technical crew instructions to ensure smooth show transitions and on-time cues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free stage and backstage environment
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors or technical staff
• Support performers, crew, and production staff as needed to ensure successful live events.

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. $ 23.34 / HR
