SERVPRO of Springfield is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily restoration project operations, coordinate crews, and ensure quality while minimizing costs. You will drive scope, estimates, scheduling, and client satisfaction on active jobs.

The role requires strong leadership, a detail-oriented mindset, and proficiency with standard software applications. A background in restoration and knowledge of OSHA safety practices are essential.

Responsibilities

The Production Manager will be report to the General Manger and be responsible for demonstrates the company’s Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. As the Production Manager, you will lead the day-to-day activities within the facility and ensure that job schedules and products meet the customers’ quality standards at minimum costs. As the Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned restoration crews.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing computer hardware and proprietary software
• Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate
• Schedule, coordinate and oversee crews and resources to provide service on active projects to include subcontractors
• Review job site documentation to support the services provided and ensure proper client requirements and billing process
• Maintain written communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives
• Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets
• Coordinate and perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
• Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities
• Document a detailed and accurate job file to support the services provided
• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects
• Communicate with General Manager and office staff on project progress and issues
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of restoration crews including schedules & production levels
• Manages the tasks and activities of a diverse workforce to ensure jobs are being processed within a timely manner
• Develop and implement processes to improve performance
• Developing employees for opportunities of greater responsibility, improves the abilities, skills and knowledge of production personnel through appropriate instruction and training.
• Works with support personnel to ensure that all aspects of the job are met to prevent any delays in the job process
• Ensures strict compliance with all safety procedures and implements safe working procedures in assigned restoration areas

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safety
• Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly
• Coach and train restoration technicians
• Manage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews
• Provide priority response to potential customers

Position Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least one year of restoration industry experience preferred
• IICRC certification a plus, not required
• Experience in building a strong team with tangible leadership skills
• Strong process and results driven attitude
• Ability to multitask and to remain detail orientated
• Must be knowledgeable in relevant computer applications
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
