Job summary

Grosfillex Americas is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Robesonia, PA campus. You will lead two shifts, oversee people, processes, and equipment, and drive safety, efficiency, and reliability across the operation.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, Distribution, HR, and senior leadership to enable growth, manage budgets, and coach a diverse production team. This onsite role offers growth opportunities and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience managing personnel within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Ability to lead multi-shift operations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Operations across two shifts, five days a week, ensuring alignment of people, processes, equipment, and resources to meet production needs.
• Develop, supervise, coach, and mentor production personnel to foster accountability, teamwork, and growth.
• Keep Production moving by anticipating needs, coordinating resources, and addressing downtime with urgency.
• Drive Operational Excellence by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, productivity, and overall performance.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, Distribution, HR, Accounting, IT, and leadership to support business objectives.
• Manage resources and budgets, monitor department expenses, and support responsible resource utilization.
• Communicate and problem-solve by keeping leadership informed of performance, priorities, challenges, and progress toward goals.

Grosfillex Americas is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and collaborative Production Manager to join our manufacturing leadership team in Robesonia, Pennsylvania!

About the Opportunity

As our Production Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the people, processes, and equipment that support our manufacturing and distribution operation at our Robesonia campus.

Our manufacturing operation currently runs two shifts, five days per week, with the potential to expand to a third shift as business needs evolve. Experience leading multi-shift manufacturing operations, including three-shift environments, would be valuable as we plan for future growth.

You’ll provide leadership and direction to our production teams, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting production goals, equipment performance, and continuous improvement.

Working collaboratively with Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, Distribution, Human Resources, and other departments, you'll play an important role in maintaining operational stability, resolving challenges, and strengthening how we work together.

We're looking for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, and understands that successful manufacturing operations depend on both strong processes and strong people.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Manufacturing Operations: Oversee daily production activities across our two-shift, five-day manufacturing operation, ensuring people, processes, equipment, and resources are aligned to meet production needs.
• Develop & Support Your Team: Supervise, coach, and mentor production personnel with varying experience and skill levels, fostering accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
• Keep Production Moving: Anticipate operational needs, coordinate resources, and respond to equipment downtime and production challenges with urgency and sound decision-making.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate Across Departments: Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, Distribution, HR, Accounting, IT, and senior leadership to support business objectives.
• Manage Resources & Budgets: Monitor departmental expenses, oversee operating budgets, and support responsible resource utilization.
• Communicate & Problem-Solve: Keep leadership informed of operational performance, priorities, challenges, and progress toward department objectives.
• Support Equipment & Process Reliability: Coordinate and oversee daily production requirements, equipment changeovers, and the resolution of manufacturing issues.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications & Skills

• Five or more years of experience managing personnel within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical and/or academic education beyond high school.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees across multiple shifts.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills and the ability to use technology to support manufacturing operations.
• Ability to prioritize, make sound decisions, and respond effectively in a fast‑paced production environment.
• A team‑oriented leadership style that encourages collaboration, accountability, and mutual respect.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach to managing manufacturing operations and resolving challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience with plastic injection molding and/or plastic extrusion processes.
• Experience managing a three-shift manufacturing operation or supporting the expansion of production operations.

Work Location & Schedule

This is a full-time, onsite leadership position based at our Robesonia, Pennsylvania manufacturing campus.

Our manufacturing operation currently runs two shifts, Monday through Friday. The Production Manager will provide leadership across both shifts, with regular onsite engagement and the flexibility to respond to operational needs.

As our business continues to grow, this position may also play a role in planning for and supporting future expansion of our production schedule.
