Job summary

Soni in New York seeks an experienced Apparel Production Manager to oversee the full production lifecycle from PO to shipment. You’ll partner daily with overseas factories and with Design, Technical Design, and QA to ensure tech packs, specs, and fabric approvals are production-ready.

You will manage timelines, coordinate fabric/trim/fit, support retailer compliance and testing, and travel internationally as needed. A strong track record with Walmart and other major U.S.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of apparel production management experience.
  • Walmart production experience with other major U.S. retailers.
  • Experience with private label apparel programs.
  • Strong knowledge of men's, women's, and children's apparel.
  • Expertise in garment construction, fit, specs, testing, retailer compliance, and production processes.
  • Experience working directly with overseas factories.
  • Understanding of fabrics, trims, CM, and production timelines.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Job description

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate fabric, trim, fit, and production approvals.
  • Partner with Quality Control to manage inspections and resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with retailer requirements, garment testing standards, and children's product safety regulations.
  • Communicate production status across cross-functional teams and proactively resolve issues to maintain delivery timelines.
  • Travel internationally as needed to support factory partnerships.

Compensation:

Up to $80,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
