Job summary

TerraFirma in Boise is seeking a Production Manager to lead the new market’s field operations. You will hire, train, and oversee crews, drive safety, quality, and on-time, on-budget project delivery, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

The role requires 3+ years as a foreman or supervisor, strong leadership, and the ability to manage both office and job-site activities. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Foreman or Supervisor in construction trades.
• Proven leadership, drive results, accountability.
• Understanding of construction principles and PM practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear presentation.
• Split time between office and active job sites; tight spaces.
• Proficient with digital tools, reporting, and PM software.
• Degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY

You'll hire the crew, set the culture, and own the results. As Production Manager for our newest market, you'll oversee all field operations in Boise — ensuring every job is done safely, on time, and on budget, while delivering the kind of customer experience that builds a reputation worth having. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, Manage & Accountability

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train your production team from the ground up
• Communicate TerraFirma’s vision clearly and ensure every team member understands their role in achieving it
• Set clear performance expectations and hold your team accountable to meeting them
• Facilitate regular team meetings, one‑on‑ones, and training sessions to drive engagement and professional growth
• Conduct performance reviews and collaborate with HR on key people decisions
• Identify and remove obstacles that prevent your team from doing their best work
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and create pathways for employee advancement

Production & Operations

• Meet and exceed production goals and KPIs for the Boise market
• Review and approve daily sales and job assignments to ensure smooth, timely execution
• Conduct regular site visits to assess job progress, coach team behavior, and identify efficiency improvements
• Ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
• Keep vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools properly maintained and in optimal working condition
• Monitor project progress and keep jobs on track from a time and budgetary standpoint

Customer Experience

• Handle customer escalations with urgency, professionalism, and a commitment to resolution
• Ensure every customer interaction reflects TerraFirma’s standard of exceptional service
• Proactively address and resolve issues before they elevate

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the construction trades
• Proven track record of leading teams, driving results, and holding people accountable
• Solid understanding of construction principles and project management practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to individuals and groups
• Comfortable splitting time between the office and active job sites, including small or tight enclosed spaces
• Proficient with digital tools, reporting, and project management software
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Fluent in English (spoken, written); Spanish is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs regularly
• Stand, walk, and perform strenuous labor for extended periods
• Work in small or tight enclosed spaces such as crawlspaces and basements
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

COMPENSATION

Competitive pay: $80,000–$105,000 DOE ($100,000-$130,000 potential annual earnings with bonuses)
