Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a Production Manager to direct forming, mold repair, and machine repair departments to optimize safety, quality, and performance while controlling costs. You will staff the forming department, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operations.

The role requires extensive experience in glass manufacturing, strong leadership, and a focus on meeting customer specifications, with opportunities for development through training and succession

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
• Twelve (12) years of experience in glass manufacturing with an emphasis on the forming process and management experience
• Prior experience with mold repair, machine repair, and job changes
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient organizational, analytical, and planning skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a heavy industrial, high-risk work environment
• Ability to work outside of regular work hours
• Ability to prioritize work and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to travel up to 5%

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in glass manufacturing with an emphasis on the forming process and management experience
• Prior experience with the plant's forming process (i.e. press, blow-and-blow, etc.)

Compensation

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $110,900 and 166,300 per year upon hire. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate. This role is eligible to participate in the annual Ardagh Incentive Bonus (AIB) plan. The bonus incentive program is based on total company performance.
