Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in their Central Valley food processing facility in Madera, CA. You will drive production scheduling, safety compliance, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer commitments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production management in food manufacturing or agricultural processing, with strong leadership and a proven ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Production Management experience within food manufacturing or agricultural processing.
• Experience leading large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and quality systems.
• Strong leadership and employee development skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly desirable.

• Lead day-to-day production operations across manufacturing departments.
• Manage and develop production supervisors and hourly employees.
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer commitments are met.
• Monitor labor utilization, productivity, efficiency, and throughput.
• Partner closely with Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and performance.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, SQF, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
• Support employee engagement, accountability, and workforce development.
• Maintain a safe and productive manufacturing environment.

Job Details

This individual will be responsible for production scheduling, employee leadership, safety compliance, quality standards, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience leading manufacturing teams within almond processing, nut processing, food manufacturing, or related agricultural production environments.

• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and quality systems.
• Strong leadership and employee development skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and operational decision-making abilities.
