About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Production Manager and are actively reviewing applications.

With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Production Shift Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee our production operations.

Schedule:

  • On-Site
  • Monday to Friday, typical daytime hours
  • Occasional off shift or weekend support as needed
Main Responsibilities:

Supervision of Production Teams:

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff during assigned shifts.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback

Production Oversight:

  • Ensure daily production schedules are met while maintaining optimal quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes and make real-time adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.

Quality and Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and company policies.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits of production areas to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze production performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training to new hires and ongoing support to existing staff to ensure competency in operational procedures.
  • Mentor team members to foster a culture of personal and professional development.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work in conjunction with other departments (e.g., quality assurance, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and present shift reports to upper management regarding production outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Autonomous maintenance/Total productive maintenance
  • Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Food or Beverage experience preferred.
  • Profound understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the skill to effectively manage and inspire a diverse workforce.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with production management software.
