Production Manager
Location: Louisville, CO. Pay: $17.75 - $21.50/hour. Reports to Store Manager.
Summary
Under the general direction of the Store Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for donut shop operations, including producing quality baked goods according to stringent deadlines and based on precise knowledge of all company‑outlined recipes.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Open availability and reliable transportation.
- Fluent English; ability to train staff in English, with bilingual (Spanish) pay differential available.
- Mastery of the Baker I, II, III, and Assistant Production Manager job descriptions.
- Achieve restaurant HR objectives: recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing company policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
- Accurately tabulate payroll for all back‑of‑house staff and deliver it to the Store Manager and/or General Manager.
- Estimate food costs and profits; adjust and manage staff to achieve cost and profit goals.
- Control costs by reviewing portion control and preparation quantities; minimize waste; ensure high quality of preparation.
- Maximize restaurant profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues; developing and implementing disaster plans; maintaining security and sprinkler systems; maintaining parking lot and walkways.
- Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by taking ownership of new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Director of Company Operations, or Area Manager.

Moderate noise level.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds. Vision required: peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
