RoofX is seeking an innovative Production Manager to work with us in the exciting new chapter as a company and team.

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all roofing projects. This role ensures that all roofing projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Production Manager collaborates with sales, material suppliers, field teams, and clients to ensure on-time delivery of services while managing resources and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
2. Supervise, hire, mentor, and manage the Production Department.
3. Handle scheduling, coaching, and accountability for team members within the Production Department.
4. Organize, control, and guide the work of others to obtain satisfactory results.
5. Customer Support and Satisfaction:
6. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
7. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality roofing projects on schedule.
8. Coordinate the scheduling of repair work on active projects to maintain an effective schedule for customer satisfaction.
9. Address any quality concerns or customer complaints in a timely manner.
10. Department Training:
11. Ensure the Production Department is trained and complies with safety protocols and roofing industry standards.
12. Train new and current employees on equipment, installation procedures, tooling, and company’s CRM programs and apps.
13. Teach others in a manner that is effective and understandable.
14. Financial Responsibilities:
15. Monitor job costs, labor hours, and material usage to ensure project profitability. Approve material orders and ensure accurate inventory management.
16. Quality Control:
17. Inspect ongoing and completed roofing projects for quality assurance.
18. Ensure all work meets company and industry standards, as well as any applicable codes.
19. Monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
20. General Responsibilities:
21. Collaborate with fellow team members.
22. Perform all other duties as assigned.
23. Abide by company driving safety standards including following all federal and state guidelines.
24. Follow standard operating procedures and safety work rules.

Qualifications:

1. Education and/or Experience: Roofing and/or construction experience is required.
2. Language Skills: Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
3. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the roofing industry.
4. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
5. Computer Skills: Proficient in personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and internal CRM.
6. Other Qualifications: Valid driver’s license is required. Must be able to travel 20% of the time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While not an everyday occurrence, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with being in tight and cramped spaces to perform their duties and ascend and descend ladders or manned baskets to access the roof. The ideal candidate should be able to, on occasion, move up to 50-100 pounds. This position will involve navigating various weather conditions at job sites. Candidates should be prepared to wear PPE when needed, including items such as hard hats, hearing protection, boots, and safety glasses, depending on the specific job requirements.
