TreeHouse Foods in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily production operations at the Lancaster plant, ensuring safety, quality, and high performance on the production floor.

You will lead supervisors, operators, and workers, driving productivity, reducing downtime, and maintaining a strong safety and quality program while supporting Lean CI initiatives and a collaborative, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production supervisors and team members, including assigning tasks and ensuring production targets and schedules are met.
• Coordinate production workflows, monitor production lines, and ensure equipment and materials are available.
• Lead and promote a safety-first culture by actively supporting the site’s Health & Safety program and provide leadership while ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and Quality requirements.
• Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and foster an environment of employee engagement, empowerment, and teamwork, particularly in relation to CI, LEAN, and other change-driven areas.
• Monitor and evaluate worker performance and provide constructive feedback, including corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and resolve quality issues, collaborating with quality control and engineering teams as necessary.
• Monitor production processes to prevent defects and minimize waste.
• Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure the production area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports on production performance, including any issues or improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all company and plant policies and procedures, including collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plant-wide initiatives.
• Serve as an active member of the Plant Steering Team, contributing to site strategy, performance, and continuous improvement objectives.

About the Role:

As a Production Manager, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Lancaster, PA plant, a manufacturer of quality pretzels. Your role will directly impact the success of the site by ensuring smooth production operations, by overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production floor.

The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $97,500 to $146,300 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
