Production Manager

Location: Lakeland, FL

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, production planning, and process improvement experience to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality output of our aluminum product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
• Manage and lead production staff, including training, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary action as needed.
• Monitor production metrics and identify areas for improvement to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
• Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and employee performance.
• Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and quality control departments to meet company goals.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support plant leadership in forecasting production needs and workforce planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or production supervisor/manager role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and safety procedures.
• Proven experience in team leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and make informed decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in metal fabrication, roofing products, or building materials manufacturing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and ERP systems.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, and working around machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor/outdoor manufacturing conditions.
