Chicago Meat Authority Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a Quality Control Technician to ensure products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role participates in HACCP, records keeping, and continuous improvement across production and warehouse operations.
The incumbent will monitor temperatures, inspect materials and processes, and assist with food safety programs. Must be able to lift 35 lbs, work extended hours, and communicate in English; Spanish is a plus.

Located in Chicago’s historic Stockyards, CMA is a forward thinking processor of value added beef, pork, and poultry items with a strong focus on selling the Healthcare, Hotel, and Institutional Markets (HRI), meat purveyors, and Multi-unit regional and national chains up to and including big box stores. In addition, CMA specializes in custom cuts for further processors including but not limited to grinding operations, deli manufacturers, and the prepared entrée market.
CMA is seeking a Quality Control Technician that is highly motivated and detail-oriented. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet, or exceed, company, customer, and regulatory expectations. This person will be an active participant of a team that believes in providing our customers with a product of the highest quality and safety.
Starting Rate: $19.35 per hour
