Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement using Lean principles to boost productivity and quality.
• Champion 5S, process standardization, and SOP adherence.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead daily production operations and help drive the next stage of our growth.

Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and actively supporting day-to-day production floor operations within a fast-paced 3PL environment. This leadership role requires a strong operational background, a passion for team development, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives on the production floor, drives accountability, and continually seeks opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production floor operations to ensure safe, accurate, and timely order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with planning teams to optimize production schedules based on customer demand, staffing levels, and operational capacity.
• Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with warehouse, logistics, quality, and customer service teams to improve workflow efficiency and meet service expectations.
• Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop team members to maximize performance and engagement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide consistent, actionable feedback to support employee growth.
• Work closely with Human Resources to drive training programs, performance management initiatives, and workforce accountability.
• Coordinate with on-site staffing partners to align workforce levels with operational requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce waste.
• Champion 5S practices, process standardization, and adherence to established operational procedures.
• Prepare and present operational performance reports, production data, and improvement recommendations to senior leadership.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 3 to 5 years of experience leading operations or production teams in a logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or 3PL environment.
• Proven experience coaching employees, managing performance, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience tracking and interpreting production metrics and operational KPIs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience with production planning, labor management, and scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience implementing process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
