Job summary

TDP Bakery in Chandler, AZ is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our overnight production team on the early morning shift.

You will ensure production, quality, safety, and efficiency while coaching staff and coordinating staffing to meet schedules. This role reports to the General Manager and requires 40 hours per week with a 1:00 AM start. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily bakery production operations.

• Monitor product quality and compliance with GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Identify and resolve production, staffing, quality, and equipment issues.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, and other departments to minimize downtime and improve performance.
• Maintain accurate production, labor, and operational records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, reduce waste, and strengthen safety performance.

Location: Chandler, AZ

Schedule: Full-Time | Shift Starts at 1:00 AM

Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week

What You'll Do

What We're Looking ForRequired

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production environment
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, food production, or bakery operations
• Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience
• Experience with production reporting, labor tracking, inventory control, or downtime management
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
• Experience in high-volume food manufacturing environments

Bonus Qualifications

• FSMA or PCQI certification
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
• Experience with ERP or production management systems
• Exposure to FDA, USDA, SQF, AIB, or customer audit requirements

Schedule Expectations

• Full‑time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Shift begins at 1:00 AM
• Availability for occasional extended shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs require
