Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager

On Site position in Bee Cave, Greater Austin, Texas

Are looking for a hands‑on leadership role where you truly own the shop floor and can help scale a mission‑led hard‑tech business? Do you want real day‑to‑day ownership, visible impact, and long‑term progression as the company grows?

This is a permanent, on‑site opportunity to take full responsibility for building engineered water and wastewater treatment systems from raw materials through to fully tested finished units, leading a small factory team across fabrication, electrical/controls integration, mechanical assembly, and final test.

You’ll be joining a growing water‑treatment technology company developing electricity‑based reactor systems aimed at reducing reliance on traditional consumables. Following continued growth and new demand, they are now looking to add an experienced production leader to increase throughput and support scale‑up.

In this role you will set the daily drumbeat on the floor, remove roadblocks, drive safety and quality standards, and deliver schedule/throughput targets using data‑driven KPIs and strong work‑order discipline (ERP/MRP, BOMs, routings).

This role would suit a hands‑on production leader from a fabrication/manufacturing background looking for high ownership, long‑term progression, and the chance to build world‑class equipment with a strong mission behind it.

The Role:

• Own the factory floor build: fabrication, welding, machining, electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, and final testing
• Lead a hands‑on production team to hit schedule, quality, and throughput targets
• Drive safety‑first culture, quality practices, and continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma)
• Work closely with operations leadership to remove blockers and scale manufacturing output

The Person:

• Production / manufacturing leadership experience in engineered or build‑to‑order products
• Hands‑on knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes (welding, machining, electrical/mechanical build)
• Comfortable working with ERP/MRP and KPI‑driven shop‑floor management
