UFP Structural Packaging, LLC is seeking a Production Management Trainee in Blue Island, IL. The role focuses on developing comprehensive knowledge of plant operations, manufacturing processes, and company systems through structured on-the-job training and mentorship.

The trainee will build expertise in product costing, production scheduling, and adherence to policies and safety standards, while supporting reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of products and procedures through on-the-job training.
• Learns how to operate the Company’s business system to perform required administrative functions.
• Develops understanding of production scheduling and budgets.
• Prepares various reports as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
